ABOUT
Emma Nuttall is a Northern-based writer whose work spans television, theatre, video games, and immersive storytelling. She has been selected for various industry programs including Film Hub North’s Scriptlab, Screen Yorkshire’s FLEX scheme, the European Creators Lab, Future of Film, and BAFTA Connect.
Emma’s credits include storylining for Emmerdale, contributing to Charisma AI’s adaptation of John Wyndham’s The Kraken Wakes, and developing an interactive His Dark Materials story in collaboration with the BBC. In 2023, she wrote NEST, the National Youth Theatre’s flagship show for LEEDS 2023, and Game Changers, a live-streamed interactive production by Megaverse. In 2024, she created Where We Meet, an immersive show performed at Camden Fringe, Voila Theatre Festival, Digital Bodies Festival, and Theatre Deli.
Emma is currently developing several new television series concepts, alongside a new theatre production with Box of Tricks, slated to debut in 2025.
