FILM HUB NORTH SCRIPTLAB

Very happy to be a part of the Film Hub North Script Lab programme, which supports a bunch of writers that have applied to the scheme with an existing idea for a short film. Over the course of 4 sessions with BFI NETWORK Talent Executives and an expert script mentor, this idea is then developed into a short ready to go script! 

Session 1 was an in-person event in Sheffield, meeting each other covering the fundamentals of screenwriting as well as a kick off session with mentors to explore all the different facets of your idea. As well as input from mentors, Script Lab relies on peer support so everyone can feed in their thoughts to help guide the project.

The programme culminates at Aesthetica in November where we connect with other filmmakers including our Creative Producer Lab cohort to pitch the final project!
